3 PEAKS - SOUTH ADIGE

The Tre Cime di Lavaredo is one of the most important symbols of the Dolomites, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009. A route through Misurina will allow you to admire the breathtaking view, and there is also an observation point with a telescope to look more closely at the peaks (visible in the Virtual Tour above).

LAKE OF DOBBIACO Lake Dobbiaco is located in Val di Landro between Dobbiaco and Cortina d'Ampezzo, at 1259 metres above sea level. Migratory and water birds particularly appreciate this lake thanks to its rich and varied vegetation; by taking a simple walk along the lake shore in autumn you can admire herons and other uncommon birds, as well as the more common resident birds that live in the various basins of the lake.

In summer you can take a leisurely boat trip, admiring the beautiful mountain ranges that surround the area, or go fishing (for information and to obtain a temporary licence please contact the Dobbiaco Tourist Office. For a day licence you can go to the restaurant nearby)

HOLIDAYS IN DOBBIACO

Summer holidays Dobbiaco is an excellent starting point for exciting hikes along the "Pale Mountains" of the Dolomites. These routes, accessible to the whole family, allow you to enjoy the unique landscape offered by the Three Peaks.

Skiing and winter holidays The wide choice of ski slopes in Dobbiaco guarantees a satisfying and emotional experience for the whole family! The Rienza ski area boasts a chairlift and two 4 km long ski lifts, as well as easy, medium and difficult slopes. Dobbiaco is also a stage of the Tour de Ski, a world-famous ski competition that runs through the Czech Republic, Germany and Italy.

Finally, we would like to remind you that Dolomiti Nordicski, Europe's largest cross-country skiing carousel with its 1,300 km of cross-country trails, offers the opportunity to visit and experience the breathtaking scenery offered by the ski slopes of the Three Peaks.
